Ian Brownlie

Ian Brownlie’s practice is wide ranging, multi-disciplinary and socially engaged. The pieces in this exhibition borrow from traditions of collage and photomontage, bringing together images developed during print making explorations. A series of works centring on remembered locations, an interpretation of experienced landscapes translated through studio processes into collaged pieces. Iterations and repetitions unified by a central motif representing the natural landscape – the evocative crow.
