Charlotte Hinchcliffe

Charlotte Hinchliffe’s work focuses on repetition and manipulation. Using her face and skin as a canvas, Hinchliffe explores the uses of make-up and its relationship with the body. Her work has a large performative aspect, but usually consists of photographs and film, which are edited using various apps and software to produce the final outcomes. Hinchliffe is interested in layering both materials and images in her work, often producing work with many repeated patterns, footage or photographs.
